Are you struggling and searching for answers for your relationships or your marriage that you are within? Does it seem like these storms that rage around you are drifting your ship of marriage or relationship towards a pirate ship ( Satan’s ship) to destroy your relationship or marriage, to steal your man and children from you and to kill off the joy you have with the Lord and your family the Lord has blessed you with? Do you ever wonder when will this pirate ship stop destroying my family and stealing my children and spouse, and killing my joy found in the Lord right?
You will find these answers within this blog and hopefully, you will find peace, by learning, and knowing how to fight with the right weapons for your marriage then you need to get out of the way and Let God do it.
God’s Marriage thinking:
l “God created male and female to work together as husband and wives should, under His Covenant to do His work. We are here together brought together by God to work together to fulfill Gods purpose here on His earth…we are just passing through to eternity.
l When men and women united together; they become united as one flesh with focusing on God as their main focus.
l When men and women united together; they seek God with their marriage within their prayers, in God’s Holy Words and together.
l When men and women united together; they put God first in their marriage (this is how we fulfill God's purpose as a Covenant that He designed as husband and wife as ONE FLESH).”
When we allow ourselves to put God first in our lives and within our relationships, that is when we will have a Biblical standard marriage, that will lead us to a Covenant that God has created for our husbands and our wives, to fulfill within God’s World, as examples for all others to live by. Marriages will last a lifetime with God as the main focus of the foundation within our homes, and our lives (independently and together). It will show other marriages out there that are struggling within a hurricane, to survive or stay afloat, within that hurricane because, that pirate ship is literally sinking their ship underneath the captivating waves. Which leads us all to believe (individually) there isn’t anything worth fighting for. However, we must also look at our spouse because, they could have already found the anchor within the storm....however, for those of you who are struggling to see this anchor in the storm around you...look at the answers I am about to tell you.
When we allow ourselves to put God first, it stops the pirate ship from destroying our marriages, stealing our husbands & wives, and families, and also killing off our joy which is ONLY found in CHRIST JESUS! With this in mind & place, my Christian Brothers and Sisters… we can put Satan’s pirate ship to capsize under those waves of the hurricane just like within the game Battleship…. sink that ship (Satan’s ship). We can also put all these divorce attorney’s and divorces out of its business as well too.
First of all, The reason why our marriages end in divorce is that people believe what they want to believe. They all think that marriages are fairy-tale stories or movies, with a happily ever after ending but, folks let me tell you right now that is NOT the case. It takes a lot of strong will effort as a couple together to keep the foundation within your lives (independently and together) with Christ the main focus within your marriage strong.
Secondly, The reason why our marriages end in divorce is that people are allowing Satan into their hearts, homes, marriages, and their families. They are allowing Satan to control everything including telling each other as spouses or within a relationship of boyfriend/girlfriend that its okay to do certain things behind your significant other's back and its okay with God…., I am sure you have heard Satan whisper…go ahead and divorce them…you can go back to them if you want to later, or how about this one, ‘ God doesn't mind you sleeping with that guy or gal or having sexual relationship with them and its okay because, you can still get into heaven for doing just good works.’ Or ‘ You don’t have to listen to God’s way…my way is better and I know what is better for you which you need to do this to your spouse or lying to them…stab them in the back, yell at them, curse them, hate them for God says to. Have you heard these things and others too I am sure?
FOLKS…STOP RIGHT THERE!
God NEVER once told you anything of these things…you are probably wondering how on earth do you know these things right? Its simple… all these things that Satan says to you…. do they match up with Scripture of God’s Holy True Words? Have you found anything within God’s Words that say that God comes into say… ‘That's okay with me or sure go ahead and do that and I will let you in my kingdom?’ NO! God NEVER once says these things…matter of fact, God is a JUDGE of Righteous things. When God created Adam and Eve…it was out of nothing right? Do you know why He created Adam? Do you know why He created Eve? Do you know Eve’s purpose and her role within Adam’s life? Within Genesis 2: 4-25, is your answer.
This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens. Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth and no plant had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no one to work the ground, but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground. Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden was the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters. The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold. (The gold of that land is good; aromatic resin and onyx are also there.)The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush. The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Ashur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates. The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky, and all the wild animals. But for Adam, no suitable helper was found. So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.”That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.- Genesis 2:4-25
In Chapter 3 talks about the first fall of temptation within the garden and how GOD punished Adam and Eve. We all are going through each day as men and women with different personalities and we why men and women are so different in general. You are probably wondering what I am referring to…the answer to this is simply by what God says in Gen 3:14- 19,
So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this,
“Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly
and you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and
the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and
you will strike his heel.” To the woman, he said, “I will make your pains in
childbearing very severe; with painful labor, you will give birth to children.
Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.” To Adam he said,
“Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which
I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you;
through painful toil, you will eat food from it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your
brow, you will eat your food until you return to the ground since
from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust, you will return.”
- Genesis 3:14-19
You will see how God punished not just man but, the serpent who was Satan for the damage he caused God’s children adversity. Satan is the one who causes more harm toward you, your spouse, your boyfriend/ girlfriend, your family, your children and so many others around you. So, instead of believing Satan’s lies, schemes, and accusations about your spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend, family, child(ren), and others around you or being tempted into doing something to harm someone else or allowing Satan to put that hatred into your heart towards others or speak out with that snake tongue towards others with the venom that Satan poison you wish to hurt others of spouses, boyfriend/ girlfriends, family, children or others around you….
Here is what you need to do:
Get down on your knees before the cross; say,
‘ In the name of Jesus, Satan, get out of my life. Take your lies, your schemes, your accusations & get out in Jesus' name. Say, Satan…my joy doesn’t come from my husband, my family or my children, it's found ONLY in Jesus Christ. Say Satan, you can’t have my family, my marriage, my husband or wife, my children because, my family, my house & my marriage is built on Christ’s foundation & management, you are fired Satan. Pack your bags of what you come into my life with and leave in the name of Jesus. Now, get out in Jesus' name.
Then I want you to pour out your heart, and your mind (it's okay to cry as you do these words that come to your heart, your mind that you pour to the Lord.) Just lay down everything before the Lord…Confess your sins, and ask the Lord for forgiveness. Ask the Lord to keep Satan away daily from yourself, your spouse, your family, and others.
My ex-husband and I had been married for 8 years, and during these 8 years, we both had a share of our marriage being ship-wrecked by that pirate ship of Satan’s. However, I continue to pray for a better understanding of our purpose to glorify God through our marriage together, as husband and wife. God has begun teaching me a lot about my marriage to my ex-husband Aaron, of my wife's duties to my ex-husband. I will be honest with you all about when we first got married; I thought when I got married it would be a happily ever after just like a romance novel or movie or like some marriages that seem to be so perfect that I have seen within my lifetime (however, those marriages were also struggling behind scenes, which I never knew) however, I was very wrong with the way I thought how marriage should be and how easy I thought it would be, plus the meaning behind that word ‘Marriage’ & ‘One Flesh’. There is nothing fairy-tale, movie film, easy way about marriage (no matter what Satan tries to make you into a fool into believing these ways of thinking that are foolish)…Marriages take effort from both sides of the partnership between husband and wife (between men and women, which is how God designed it to be.) I will say right now… DON’T GIVE UP OR DON’T THROW THE TOWEL IN when there seems there is NO hope or NO faith, or like there is nothing there…let me tell you something… there is something there… GOD is there through it all of your marriage together as husband and wife.
I am sure you all are wondering if my marriage of 8 years to my ex-husband was on a Christ foundation, right? The answer to that my friends was no, it wasn't at the beginning of our marriage, & it never became to be due to the abuse that came within my first marriage.* My ex-husband and I both thought, we could do this so-called marriage thing on our own but, over the years of being married it became very hard to do it on our own selfish, prideful, stubborn ways and listening to what Satan’s pirate ship wanted us to do (individually). Satan has really been destroying our marriage several times over the past 8 years…a lot has taken place and a lot has happened between my ex-husband and me.
Please know that NO marriage is going to be perfect but, it’s NOT a romance novel, or a movie either so, don’t try to think with that thought because it just won’t work. Another thing is we all are NOT perfect individuals as well and we all need to have compassion for one another just like Jesus had compassion for you ALWAYS.
Satan, took control over my ex-husband to become very controlling, lying to me, cheating behind my back, & just continuing to abuse me & I just kept seeking God for someone or something to help me out of the bondage from the abuse I was dealing with. I held on with hope & faith in Christ to help me through each passing day, which days turned into months which lead to years passing by & then 2017 came & everything turned upside down for me (shared within another blog (titled; Dedication with Thanksgiving) & I got what I prayed for, an end & a beginning to another start to a better life.
I am praying for you my dear Fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ for you to have a marriage that has a foundation built on Jesus Christ. Seek him always through daily in your marriage, because, without Christ as the main focus… your marriage will be destroyed by Satan’s pirate ship.
Prayer:
Lord,Thank you for my husband or wife.
Thank you for your message today.
Lord, help me to see what you need me to see within our marriage
together of what you need us to do.
Help me to live out your purpose within our marriage together
as One Flesh that you have joined together for your will.
Lord, I pray for protection against Satan’s attacks of destruction, stealing my family,
my spouse, my children, killing off my Joy that is Only found in you.
Lord, watch over my family, my spouse and my children.
Lord, forgive me for not being respectful and
loving towards my spouse.
Show me Lord how to be loving, caring, nurturing,
and respectful towards my spouse daily.
Teach me how to be the wife or husband that you
have called me to be for my husband or wife that you have blessed me with.
Go with me through this week I pray.
